Week 1Post Covid: Back in the Classroom

WOW!

What a week! I am so proud of the GEM's who have bravely stepped though the door this week and got on with our 'new normal'. On Monday we talked a lot about our feelings and it is clear that a lot of us were feeling the same way. Mrs Turner was so excited to be back but also worried about staying safe.

Unfortunately Mrs Turner was unavailable for comment today, but she did make a statement: "although Thursday Meets have been cancelled, there will be a whole class meet at 2pm tomorrow, please check your parent's emails for more information".

I enjoyed our Google Meets today. I did take a screen shot of you guys but I forgot to save them so I lost the photos, sorry guys. You looked good though!

Not too much Pirate Learning going on today!

I think all you pirates must have decided to abandon ship today and enjoy the sunshine instead, because not very many people shared their work with me, (unless they were sharing it with Captain Turner instead?) Thank you to all my trusty crew mates who did send in their work!

A BIG shout out to Pirate MASON, Pirate ZOE, and Pirate JOSHUA who consistently make a big effort with their learning and keep sharing all their fabulous work. You guys are OARSOME!

Remember to keep challenging yourselves team. You may be at home, but it's still a school day!

We start our video conferences via Google Meets next week YAY. Make sure your parents check their emails today for the timetable and instructions. If you have an older sibling you might like to get them to show you how it all works.
