Room 12 amazing Narratives

 The Beautiful Princess

Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess. She had curly brown hair down to her back and she had a bright cyan dress. She had a sparkly silver necklace as bright as the sun. She is kind, helpful and smart like a mad scientist. She is friendly and forgetful like me. She is as funny as a clown. There was also an evil witch. She had a purple cape with a horrid smile and crinkly green hair as green as grass. Her name was Grizelda. She was evil, eerie and wicked. She was very very rude. She was also mean and selfish. The princess was on a big ship. The ship looked old brown and rusty. It smelt like rotting flesh. It felt cold. The princess could hear the lake splashing and sploshing and the seagulls squawking. It tasted like the fresh air going up the princesses nose. One day the witch scared the princess and the princess fell into the lake. Duh Duh Duuhh. But a shiny grey dolphin saved the princess. The witch got so angry and burst into a thousand pieces. The the dolphin and the princess became friends. And they lived happily ever after.

The Princess

Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess. She had white hair with stripes of blue at the bottom. She has a long pretty dress with silver high heels. The princess has a beautiful crown with gems. She has smooth pale skin. The princess is as polite as Mrs Howell. She is very calm. The princess is super helpful. She has a little voice like a mouse. There was also an angry alien that was super short. The alien was very ugly like a hairy one eyed monster. He has one huge eye like Mick. The angry alien has three long fingers. He was super angry. He had 2 long legs. The alien is super scary. He was super mean. The alien never showed his manners. The alien always yelled at people. The princess was on a big ship. The ship was rusty. The big ship was very old. It had its motor falling off. The big ship had goo all over the floor. Next minute the princess started singing and the alien did not like her singing but she kept on singing. Then the alien came down from the drivers seat and onto the gooey floor. He pushed the beautiful princess off the ship. The alien was now the only one on the ship. It was very light and then it sunk! Suddenly the princess and the alien bumped into each other and both were tall enough to reach the ground. They were saved by a man who caught them and saved their lives. They both lived happily ever after.

How to find a friend

Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess. She has long pink hair that has passed her shoulder. She has a long pink dress that has glitter and sparkles on it. She has pink high heels that have glitter on it. She has a royal pink crown that has lots of hearts on it. She also has pink crystal earrings that are as sparkly and shiny as diamonds. She is as girly as a girly girl. She is as smart as Albert Einstein. She is calm and always joyful. She is shy. There was also a dumb zombie. The dumb zombie has a head that is shaped like a rectangle block. The zombie has neon cyan eyes. The dumb zombie walks like a normal person. The zombie is as dumb as someone that doesn't have a brain. The zombie is always depressed because nobody taught the zombie maths. The zombie is always tired because the zombie has not slept in days. The dumb zombie is very hungry. They lived in a giant royal ship. Inside the ship is royal themed. The royal ship is silver coloured on the inside. Inside the ship has a golden pattern on the ground. The royal ship has seven stories. The ship is as big as a blue whale. Then the princess fell into the lake. The princess saw a ladder to get back on the ship. The princess fell into the lake again because the ship was moving fast. When she was just about to fall off again the dumb zombie pulled her up. After that they became friends and the princess taught the zombie maths. They lived happily ever after.

The beautiful Princess

Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess. She had hair as golden as a goldfish. Her eyes were so bright that you can hardly imagine. She had a round face like a circle. She had small ears. The princess liked to go swimming in the blue lake. Her thoughts were always very great thoughts. She was very good at maths. She also liked to sit on a ship. There was also an evil zombie. The zombie had a green body with all black eyes. The zombie had no hair. He had black lips. His teeth were all red. He was very evil. The zombie liked to drink blood like a vampire. He is a little bit smart but mostly dumb. He can only breathe under water. The princess lived on a big ship. There was a lot of smoke that you can hardly see through. The ship was as big as the titanic. There were so many windows that you could hardly count. There was a giant swimming pool that whenever you wanted to swim you could. But the problem was a pirate was coming so the princess fell down into the lake. The solution was the evil zombie became not evil and helped her. The princess became a mermaid and they lived happily ever after.

Persuasive writing

Room 12 have been learning about Persuasive Writing. This week they chose a topic and wrote about it. Here are three fantastic pieces.

Minecraft VS Lego    By Dia
In my opinion Minecraft is better than Lego.
One reason is that when you build Lego you have to destroy it but with Minecraft you don't have to. One example is when my cousin Maya came over she was building something with my Lego and I built it on Minecraft. Maya said not to break it when she goes, but I had to. When I did break it I made sure I got the same design as when she built it.
My second reason is you can drop your Lego and it's easy to break, but with Minecraft it's only easy to break if you hold the screen. An example is when I was going to show my mum my Lego, when I was coming over to her I dropped it and it broke.
My third reason is that if you come in the house when it's dark and you have nothing on your feet and you forget you were playing with Lego and then you step down..."OUCH!"
Therefore Minecraft is better than Lego.

Donut VS Ice-cream    By Arya
In my opinion ice-cream is better than donuts.
One reason is you can put more toppings on ice-cream. An example is if you want more toppings, you can get an ice-cream.
My second reason is you can choose more flavors of ice-cream than donuts. An example is if you have already tried the same flavor ice-cream, you can get another flavor.
My third reason is you can get a lot of ice-cream scoops at once and not donuts. An example is if you're feeling like you want more ice-cream you can buy more scoops.
Therefore in my opinion ice-cream is better than donuts.

Bike VS Scooter    By Alvin
In my opinion bikes are better than scooters.
One reason is that riding a bike is way more comfortable than a scooter. For example if you're riding a scooter downhill and you're going very fast and you forget to hit the brakes you will most likely fall down and hurt yourself.
My second reason is that a bike can go faster than a scooter. For example if you're going on bumps you will get speed and go faster but if you are on your scooter and you go fast on bumps you might fall off.
MY last reason is that if you're on a mountain bike you can go on grass or on rocks. But scooters can only go on flat concrete or uphill. For example if you want to go biking on a mountain but you want to ride a scooter, you will most likely fall down a mountain.
Therefore in my opinion a bike is better than a scooter.

Autumn Descriptive Writing

A few weeks ago Team 12 went on a nature walk.
We used our senses to talk about what autumn felt like, and collected things that reminded us of autumn.

When we got back to class we worked together to brainstorm and choose adjectives to describe what we had found.

We then started to write a poem about autumn.

Finally we published our work ready for display.
Next time you are in the classroom come and take a look x
